Carrot and stick
“Beware of the Divine”
Says the preacher, for he is a teacher too,
“You’ll have hell to pay for
Should you trespass”
‘God’ neither punishes
Nor rewards
Ain’t Mrs. Gomes
Who gives a lollipop for being good
And a cane for being bad
Be Aware of the Divine
To wait in Patience with Love
No rewards in Love
No punishments either
The Divine Loves all
Saint and Sinner
The drunkard in his place
The preacher in his
Creation just is.

"No rewards in Love
No punishments either"
So true.
God is beyond mind
They say God is Love
But he's the substance
That bears
The emotion
Called Love.
Dear Ganesh, Swahilya:
Yes true indeed. God is beyond mind. Mind is home to emotions. The emotion termed as love has an opposite called hate. Love that is God is one without an opposite.
