Kitchen Counter
The days work done
Put away the knives
Clean the counter
The trash is put away
The food is put away
Both ‘created’ at the same place
In the same space

A clean counter enables
Work the next day
A cluttered counter disables
Work no matter how urgent
Its impossible to work with a cluttered counter

Just as its impossible for a cluttered mind to find a solution
No wonder the Master states “Meditation first solution next”

Just as the counter the mind needs to be cleared up
Thoughts, happenings
Good and bad
Events all
Transient

Sans thoughts wither mind?
Just an empty space
That enables all

Generally it is said, when you look at a persons working place-office or kitchen, you can know his state of mind.
beautifully expressed in a poem revealing the subtle truth

A square piece of earth
Things placed here and there
Sometimes sparkling clean
Sometimes clutterd and untidy
The consciousness present
Watches unmoved. Nothing.

(Comment for the previous post, posted again).
All roads lead to the same destination
Any path one takes, goes to the
same place
For those who seek and don't
There is no need for a path too
Because what one searches
Is deep within
Where the inward breath ends
And the outward air begins
So it is a destination
One can never reach by following anyother road
But the Inner Ring Road.
