The Flame of Truth

As the sun outside
And the subtle warmth within

Is to light the lamp

Today is kartigai
Thought to myself
'Have to light lamps tomorrow'
As I went to bed last night
Then came these beautiful words
That gently stirred me from sleep
To a gentle awakening
( Kartigai is a festival that celebrates the element of Fire in the Universe. Sisters light lamps to pray for prosperity in the lives of their brohers. I have no biological brothers.
I light a lamp today for prosperity well being and happiness of my brothers, for their well-being and happiness. The whole world is mine so shall light for ALL today. )
