Know the rose by its fragrance
Its very essence.
The flower long dies leaving its essence behind.
Loved ones depart leaving their essence behind
Essence in the form of thoughts, wisdom and experience.

Each life carries a message
However brief or long

To carry the essence all along
Is to remember the words of wisdom and courage.
And live them
Is to know them eternally

Thank you, kitchenette soul. :D You know, when I was young I wondered what wisdom was, searched the Bible for its hidden meaning. As I grew older I discovered it. :D It comes after a few emotional scars heal.

I tagged you on my blog. If you don't have time for it, that's okay.

Hugs, Nancy
