Bhakti Yoga-- Part 1
Offering flowers of every color and fragrance
The ringing of bells the lighting of lamps
There is beauty and Love in them
But there is more to devotion than flowers and incense
To know the Divine in every sense
Krishna’s very essence…………
-------------
(Ref: Chapter 12--Bhakti yoga)
When asked by Arjuna whether worship of form is superior or worship of the formless. Sri Krishna at first states that worship of the form is relatively easier. He then moves on to the essence that both lead to

“See me as the essence
In every sense
The seed of devotion flowers into
Love unparalleled
Love not just for me but for everything around
Should you seek me thus
Simply surrender all your fruits of your actions
Unto me
The ‘good and the bad
Work simply as an instrument
Like a pen in hands of a writer
Thus shall you effortlessly cross
This seemingly insurmountable ocean of Samsara

Should this be difficult too’
Never you mind
Just perform everything you do
As a worship unto me
Thus shall you attain

Constant practice, knowledge leads to me too
Knowledge is superior to practice, meditation is superior to knowledge
But the best of all surrender of fruits of actions
For this is Meditation in action
Thus does the bliss of devotion
Lead to the Ocean of Silence
Of me of you
Or just one?

Offering of just space
Is an offering too
Beyond the patram
Pushpam, Phalam
and Thoyam
